Recognised for superior service – and it’s thanks to visitors!
Houghton Lodge and Gardens are delighted to have been selected for the 2016 Certificate of Excellence Award from Trip Advisor. This awards comes with thanks to the wonderful visitors who have taken the time to write a review about their visit.
Not only are Houghton Lodge grateful for their time, but they have found it a pleasure to read the consistently great reviews that have earned them this award.
The Busk family opened their home to visitors and welcomed them to discover the delights of one of the finest (and earliest) surviving examples of a Cottage Ornée.
They dedicate their time to maintaining this stunning house and gardens, with the personal touch of guided tours led by the owner’s family. Surrounded by mature trees, well-maintained lawns and stunning gardens leading to the banks of the famous River Test this is described by one reviewer as “The jewel of the Test Valley”.
This award is a great achievement for Houghton Lodge and the Busk family. The achievement celebrates hospitality businesses that have earned great traveller reviews on TripAdvisor over the past year.
“With the Certificate of Excellence, TripAdvisor honours hospitality businesses that have consistently received strong praise and ratings from travellers”, said Heather Leisman, Vice President of Industry Marketing, TripAdvisor. “This recognition helps travellers identify and book properties that regularly deliver great service. TripAdvisor is proud to play this integral role in helping travellers feel more confident in their booking decisions.”
With great reviews that include statements from visitors such as; “a relaxing place to visit” and “a hidden Hampshire gem”, it’s no wonder Houghton Lodge and Gardens has earned itself this award.
Moving forward the Hampshire attraction will continue to maintain its high standards and personal touch for its visitor, and long may the great reviews continue!
